Training Location

The weekday classes(Wednesday - Friday) are conducted between 07:00pm-10:00pm,

The weekend (Saturday) classes are conducted between 09:00am-04:00pm at Karaköy Minerva Palas.

  • Applications for non-thesis master’s programs are evaluated by the respective Admission Jury along with individual program entries. Admission is finalized by the approval of the related Graduate School Board upon the recommendation of the Jury and announced to the applicants.

  • Applicants may be called for interviews.  Periods for application are announced in Academic Calendar.

    Your registration will be done upon the approval of Turkish Higher Education Council regarding the equivalence of the last graduated higher instution and the course of study.

    3 Offcial Transcript Sealed and taken from Student Resources/Affairs of the applicant's university indicating the courses and grades taken.
    4 Statement of Purpose A summary of the candidate's reason for applying to the program, their program and career objectives, motives and expectations.
    5 Curriculum Vitae (CV) Candidates must submit an Up-to-date Curriculum Vitae 
    6 One Photograph One passport-sized photo is required.
    7 Two Letters of Recomendation

    These should be either submitted online or posted in a sealed envelope.

    Both reference letters from candidates' workplace are only acceptable if the candidate has been working for more than five years.

    8 Degree Requirements

    An undergraduate degree is required in order to apply for master's degree programs. An applicant should have an undergraduate or graduate diploma in order to be admitted to a graduate program.

    Applicants must complete their previous degree programs by the admission period at the latest.

    ELAE* Candidates must obtain a satisfactory grade in Sabancı University’s own English Language Assessment Exam (ELAE).
    *ELAE exam is composed of 3 parts: Grammar, Vocabulary and Writing. The grammar and vocabulary sections make up 50% and the writing section makes up the remaining 50% of the overall grade. The exam is free. When your application has been accepted by the institute, you are automatically registered for this exam. You will be informed of the date, time and location of the exam and its result at a later date by the institute

    English Proficiency Exam Result

    As the language of instruction at Sabancı University is English,  any of the following English Proficiency Exam results baring the min. scores and which are within the validity period as indicated at 9th article above. Photocopies are acceptable for application, but original copies should be submitted during admission. 

    Exam scores must have been taken no more than:

    • TOEFL, PTE: 2 years
    • CAE, CPE 3 years 
    • KPDS, ÜDS, e-YDS and YDS 5 years


    According to the updated YOK (Turkish Higher Education Council) Legislation;

    a) Acceptable Exams

    There has been an update in the list of exams which are considered as equivalent by YOK and acceptable for Graduate Program registrations by Sabancı University; equivalency of IELTS, TOEFL-PBT and TOEFL-CBT exams is not accepted by YOK (Turkish Higher Education Council) any more; and these exams will not be valid for Graduate Program registrations.

    b) Exam Centers

    If the international exams, of which equivalency is accepted by YOK and which are accepted for Graduate Program registrations by Sabancı University as indicated in Article (a), are taken in Turkey; these exams have to be taken in a State University building. 

    Exams taken in a exam center rather than State University buildings before the announcement date of the updated regulation (26 February 2016); and exams taken in a exam center rather than State University buildings within 30 days following the announcement date of updated regulation, only if it was applied before 26 February 2016 will be considered as taken in accordance with the condition indicated in Article (b).

    Applicants who do not submit a valid English Proficiency Exam score (fulfilling all other requirements), can only be admitted to graduate study on the condition of obtaining a satisfactory grade in Sabancı University’s own English Language Assessment Exam (ELAE). Those candidates who fail to attend or get a satisfactory score in the exam are obliged to attend and successfully complete a full course of English Language Preparation in order to continue with graduate courses. Failure to complete English Language Preparation course successfully will result in termination of enrollment at Sabancı University.

    Graduates of Sabancı University are exempt from submitting an English Proficiency Exam score provided that they apply within two years following their graduation.

    IMPORTANT NOTES:

    Result for Graduate Program Entrance Exam; ALES, GRE or GMAT Score is not required for Non-thesis Master’s Degree programs. 

    All the application documents become property of Sabancı University. It is suggested to keep the original report of TOEFL score for you and apply with the copy of the exam.

    Candidates can apply more than one program via online application form. Seperate forms is to be filled for each applied program. Applicants can either submit the application package including the required documents in person or can send via post to Student Resources. Seperate application package is to be submitted for each applied program.

    Application Adress

    Applicants need to upload their documents on the online system. They are also required to submit their application packages either in person or post them by mail to the Department of Student Resources. Please note that print-out of the completed application form should also be added to the application package. The packages sent via mail must arrive at the department by the application deadline. Applications sent via e-mail are not  accepted.
